Gi Group Russia join the world’s largest quality-driven career transition organisation Career Star Group.

London, UKJun 16th 2021 – Career Star Group announced today that Gi Group Russia have joined their organisation to supply outplacement to their customers based in Russia.

Gi Group Russia will be welcomed during the annual Leadership Summit at the end of this month where all Career Star Group leaders from across the world join together to devise strategic plans, discuss upcoming market trends and industry innovations.

Gi Group was founded in 2004 in Italy, expanding into Russia in 2014. In 2010, Gi Group became an Interregional Corporate Member of the World Employment Confederation. In 2015, the number of employees employed by Gi Group reached 160,000 worldwide.

‘‘Gi Group Russia extends and complements Career Star Group’s powerful offering’’ says Cetti Galante, Chair of the Career Star Group board, ‘‘The team in Russia have a mission to support the transition of people, quickly reconnecting them with the labour market. Their values align with our own and we look forward to working with them over the coming years.’’

Career Star Group is a unique, highly experienced and specialised organisation which was established in 2012 due to a lack of quality global career transition providers in the market that put individualism and results first. Career Star Group is a non-profit collaboration of driven organisations allowing quality and passion to reign over profit. CSG are determined to provide innovative, tailored and empowering services above and beyond standard offerings in the market. Driven by quality assurance, strengthening Career Star Group’s offerings in Russia reinforces their market share.

“According to our experts, the outplacement service is still undervalued in Russia – despite the fact that some companies started using it back in 1998 as a method of civilized dismissal,” says Olga Ovchinnikova, CEO of Gi Group Russia, “In the next 2-3 years, every 6th employer in Russia will be forced to reduce staff. We see that the consciousness and responsibility of companies is increasing, and we predict an increase in the need for Russian business to find ways to mitigate the consequences of layoffs. Сandidates will also need services to help them more accurately determine their professional capabilities. The partnership with Career Star Group will allow us to offer similar solutions-based on both modern technologies and deep industry expertise.”
